Through language education and personal development for study abroad, Koryo International College provides students with a broad range of support. Koryo students may study English language in the UK and other European countries or Chinese language in China. Koryo also offers the Frontier Spirit Program and various other study-abroad programs.

Description of program of study Students participate in the English Language Programme at the University of York designed for Koryo's Overseas Language Study program. Students are primarily required to take English classes, but also learn about British culture, social system, history, international business, as well as computer skills.
  • Students attend a total of 14 sessions, five days a week (Monday through Friday).
  • In addition to field trips, students will take short trips to Haworth, known as the home of the Bronte Sisters (Charlotte, Emily, and Anne), authors of Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre, and visit sightseeing spots in London.
Transferring credits Contingent on a review of grades obtained at the University of York and achievement reports, Koryo International College will accept approximately 24 credits earned at the University of York.
Participation fee 450,000 yen
  • Koryo International College will cover the remaining 530,000 yen of total study-abroad costs of about 980,000 yen.
  • The participation fee includes tuition, teaching materials, boarding (homestay), food (breakfast, lunch, and dinner on weekdays), air fare, boarding in London, etc.
Loan program Koryo International College offers an interest-free loan program for the participation fee.
